Helping Newcomers Adjust to Life in Oxford County

Oxford Settlement Services, which is located within Community Employment Services, assists Permanent Residents and Refugees adjust to life here in Canada by providing counselling services and connecting newcomers with helpful resources in our community.

Who We Are

Oxford Settlement Services is funded through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to support newcomers’ settlement and integration. The Settlement Program provides free comprehensive programming that assist newcomers in adjusting and contributing to various aspects of Canadian life.

Servicing newcomers throughout Oxford County since 2013 in various languages.

Main Office: Community Employment Services 40 Metcalf Street, Woodstock

Itinerate Offices: Ingersoll, Norwich, Plattsville, Princeton,Tavistock, Thamesford and Tillsonburg.

Who We Serve

  1. 1Permanent Residents
  2. 2Refugee Claimants
  3. 3Protected Persons
  4. 4Temporary foreign workers who hold or have received approval of a work permit or received initial approval for permanent residence
  5. 5Foreign nationals who have been granted a temporary resident visa under the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel, and their dependents are deemed eligible persons until March 31, 2025
